Berger: .223 Rem, 77gr OTM Tactical, 20/Box
I purchased a case of Berger 77gr OTM ammo for use in 200-300 yard match competition. I pulled down one box of twenty to weigh out the charge as I had heard there was a potential for over-charging. The results were as follows:
• Max Charge: 23.98
• Min Charge: 23.69
• Avg Charge: 23.82
• BTO Length: 1.813
I reloaded each case with 23.8 grains of what looks like N-140 and took them to the range. Target #1 is five shots of the reloaded cartridges. Target #2 is five shots with my chrono attached. The chrono results were as follows:
• Max FPS: 2849
• Min FPS: 2796
• Avg FPS: 2830
• ES: 53
• SD: 20.7
I threw out the 2796 with the following results:
• Max FPS: 2849
• Min FPS: 2826
• Avg FPS: 2839
• ES: 21
• SD: 8.8
All in all, I am quite happy with the result, and look forward to competing with this ammo

Amazing ammo! I'm getting consistent 0.5 to 0.8 moa 5-shot groups from an 18" AR15. Excellent velocity at around 2750 fps. I'm easily hitting silhouette targets at 750 yard consistently. Very happy with this ammo.
